1. Operating steps (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Open the mobile App Store app, click the blue avatar in the upper right corner of the page to enter the account page.
  2. Find the "Redeem Gift Card or Code" option on the page and click to enter the redemption interface.
  3. Choose from two redemption methods:
  • Camera scanning: Directly point the camera at the 16-digit redemption code of the gift card for automatic identification;
  • Manual input: scrape off the card coating, manually enter the complete redemption code to submit redemption.
  1. Confirm redemption, and the amount will be automatically deposited into the balance of your Apple ID account, which can be used for paid apps and subscription purchases.

2. Key considerations

  1. The gift card area must be consistent with the Apple ID registration area, and cross-regional cards cannot be redeemed;
  2. Continuously inputting the wrong redemption code will temporarily lock the card and submit it after checking that it is correct;
  3. Only log in to the App Store for account redemption, and log in to the iCloud settings page is prohibited;
  4. The balance after redemption can be viewed on the avatar account page and used for store paid items.
